Aquarium Technician
Do you love aquariums? Are you an aquarium enthusiast who has been maintaining marine and freshwater aquariums for at least five years? Do you wish you could turn your hobby into a career? Are you presently working, or have you worked in any type of aquarium or pet business that specializes in selling and/or maintaining both marine and freshwater aquariums? Do you have a degree in marine biology, aquaculture or a related field?
This position involves installing freestanding and custom marine and freshwater aquariums, as well as providing onsite aquarium management for residential and commercial accounts located throughout the Vancouver lower mainland. Degrees in marine biology, aquaculture and science related fields are preferred. Previous experience with closed aquarium systems is helpful (water quality/chemistry, filtration components, fish/invertebrate identification).
